I have been here a couple of times and it's definitely one of my favorites. The menu is like a dictionary that's full of delicious food to choose from. This place definitely gets busy no matter the hour so I always make sure to plan accordingly. Customer service is good and attentive, too. The only gripe I have about this restaurant is the parking situation which is beyond their control. It took me 25 minutes to find parking on a Sunday afternoon so make sure to leave your house a little earlier to be on the safe side.

Everytime I eat at Mikuni I leave very satisfied! We have been coming here since before pandemic. My wife and I love the $75 for two which comes with an entree for each, sushi roll and a dessert. Comes handy when you cant decide what to eat. The ambience can be whatever you like- it can be for fancy celebrations or just a casual dinner. Recently I have tried their Chirashi Don and Nigiris- and I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh it was. The servers were always prompt and nice to talk to.

Came here yesterday to have an early birthday dinner for my husband, and it went great! Because it was a Sunday, the Veranda was pretty busy. We put our name down for a party of 12, and it took about an hour to get seated (which was to be expected). Paige was our server and she was awesome! We were a big group and she got our orders down right away, and soon everything was flowing to our table. We all got an array of things, but hubby and I opted for sharing some sushi. Miso Soup (4/5) - Can't go wrong with an order of soup to start. Really nice since it was chilly outside! Garlicky Edamame (5/5) - I am a sucker for edamame, especially when it's seasoned. This was garlicky, salty, tangy from the lemon juice, and fresh from the cilantro. Yum!! Probably my favorite thing I ate. And they give you a decent amount for sharing around the table. Sakakawe Handroll (5/5) - I love a good salmon skin handroll, and this one was no exception. The skin was crispy, nice freshness form the cucumber, and it was seasoned well. Even hubby liked it! Japanese Mafia Roll (5/5) - Omg yes!! We loved this roll! It had everything we love in it. Scallop, shrimp, crab, salmon & cream cheese, all torched to perfection. Rich, creamy, and filling! Philadelphia Roll (3.5/5) - This was hubby's choice. I'm normally not a fan of this roll, but that's just my preference. Still decent though. After everyone finished their meals, we had Paige bring out a cake that she stored in the fridge for us when we got there. We sang happy birthday, ate cake, and then hub spinned the wheel and won a T-Shirt! Mikuni is a solid restaurant to get yummy Japanese food at. They have a good variety of items on their menu, it's great for groups, and service is nice and consistent! Highly recommend!

I went with a friend on a Saturday night around 5:30PM and had a 30 minute wait. The location of Mikuni is perfect because it's in the Veranda which has plenty of stores you can window shop in while waiting. I ordered the 49er Jack roll and thought it was very good. This was my first time getting a roll with tuna and scallop because I'm not the biggest raw seafood fan but I was impressed! The service however was sub-par. We waited about half an hour for our food, and once we were done, it was slow to get our check. Overall, good food but service could be better.

Mikuni was a pleasant surprise! They have fresh wasabi at no extra charge, a fairly large menu with Gluten free options (prepared safely - but always talk to your server to confirm), and good quality sushi. The ambience is fairly nice; casual but with a slightly classy feel. Service is very good; I've been there twice, and both times my server was accommodating and friendly.

Warning: Parking sucks. So be mindful when you plan on going here. This location is in The Veranda which is very nice here during the holidays. Going to make this one short and sweet: Service: The service was ok. Our waiter was friendly and attended to our needs. However, there was one server that took my glass of water not realizing that I was still drinking it. Another thing I noticed, all I kept hearing was dishes breaking. One server dropped food on a different customers table and the other dropped more food and broke the dishes while walking by. Must've been a busy night lol. The food: Delicious but pricey for sushi. I ordered the Pimp My Roll, raw oysters, and Marilyn Monroll. I liked all 3. I highly recommend the Pimp My Roll. Ambiance: Very nice for a date night or to catch up with a friend. Overall, great experience here. Will return again.
